Have you ever wanted to visit Loch Ness? There are a range of hotels, guest houses and bed and breakfast accommodation to choose from and one is trying to attract those romantic Valentine visitors.

Loch Ness Lodge has a fabulous two day treat for guests offering Champagne reception, two nights of taste bud tantalising dinners, a romantic boat trip on the legendary Loch Ness and a visit to Urquhart Castle together with the use of the Lodge’s spa.

For the incurable romantic the opportunity to escape to the luxurious Highland Hideaway for an ultimate Valentine’s Weekend will certainly offer couples a trip to remember. From 10-17 February guests can enjoy a Champagne reception along with box of luxury handmade chocolates. Dinner each night will be a fine dining gastronomic adventure from Head Chef Ross Fraser, using only the best seasonal and locally produced ingredients.

After a leisurely Highland breakfast guests will be treated to a romantic boat trip on the beautiful and mysterious Loch Ness. This trip includes a visit to one of the most famous castles in the world – Urquhart Castle.

The countryside which surrounds the Lodge is some of the most breathtaking in Scotland. Within a short drive of the loch there is the renowned Glen Affric, home to many short hiking trails; perfect for a romantic afternoon stroll.

Alternatively of course there’s the option to simply relax in front of the roaring fire with a glass of wine or a local dram whilst enjoying the panoramic views over Loch Ness.

The Lodge also has a Spa for guests to enjoy the fabulous hot tub and sauna during the afternoon or early evening. Spa treatments can also be arranged.
